North Cut was founded in 2019 from a simple idea. Marek Dvořák wanted to create a barbershop where every cut gets the same honest work—whether it’s the first client of the day or the hundredth.
We started with one chair in Vinohrady. Today we have three barbers, a loyal clientele, and a reputation we take pride in. We don’t grow fast—and we don’t want to.We’d rather have three chairs where real work is done than ten where corners get cut.
Each of us has a different style and different strengths, but we agree on one thing: the client leaves satisfied, or it’s not finished. No compromises, no rushed cuts, no “that’ll do.”

Jakub is the youngest member of the team, bringing a fresh take on the latest trends. He specializes in fade cuts and modern styles. His clients appreciate his friendly approach and patience during consultations.

Founder & Head Barber
Marek founded North Cut with a clear vision — to create a place where men’s haircuts are taken seriously. With over 10 years of experience, he specializes in classic techniques with a modern edge.
Tomáš Horák
Senior Barber
Tomáš is an expert with the straight razor and beard grooming. Before joining North Cut Barbershop, he gained experience in London, bringing back a sharp eye for detail and a classic British barbering approach.
